Take me in (Holy of Holies) - Isaiah 6

Hey peeps,

A happy December and pre-holidays to all of you! Believe it or not, we have reached the end of another decade! Yes, it's the end of the 2000s! Scary huh? I remember I was partying on the eve of 2000 like its the new century, and the whole scare about the Y2K bug. What a fuss was that. And that was the pre-9/11 days. Remember that?

Okay. I digress. This coming Sunday worship, Sister Christina will be introducing a new song titled Take Me In (Holy of Holies). So here's the link for the songs.

The first one is the version by Integrity which is probably the one she wants to sing.... but I really LOVE the version by Kutless. So, musicians on duty this weekend, do listen to the songs and practice yeah? Here are the chords and lyrics too. :)

Take me in (Slow version)

Take me in (Cool version) ;D

Take Me In (Holy of Holies) - Kutless

                Em
Take me past the outer courts,
        C
And through the Holy Place
  D
Past the brazen altar,
                        Em               D
Lord I want to see your face

        Em
Pass me by the crowds of people
         C
The priests who sing their praise
      D
I hunger and thirst for Your righteousness,
               Am                   D
But it's only found one place

Chorus:
      Em                                         D
So take me in to the Holy of Holies,
            Am7             D                      Em G
Take me in by the blood of the Lamb
       Em                                       D
So take me in to the Holy of Holies,
               Am7                       D
Take the coal, cleanse my lips,
            Em
Here I am

"Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. 7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"
- Isaiah 6:5-8
